GEORGE KEWIN, AIA

Associate Principal, Studio Director

George joined FXFOWLE as Studio Director in 2008, overseeing all international building, planning and infrastructure projects for the New York and Dubai offices. He has 29 years of experience serving as studio and project leader for architectural, planning, residential, interior, hospitality, museum, development, retail, and multi-disciplined projects.

A few projects that George is currently overseeing include the construction of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing in Dubai. The 55,800-foot-long bridge incorporates two metro lines and, once completed, will be the largest and tallest spanning arch bridge in the world. In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia the studio is working on several parcels in the King Abdullah Financial District. Programs include three mixed-use towers (which include residential, office, and retail components), low-rise residential, educational and sports facilities, and a mosque. George has been working on two large building and master planning projects in India. Noida IT Park is approximately 195,000 square meters of building and 51,200 square meters of parking on 25 acres. The second project, Ciel Square, is a 23,000-square-meter, nine-story office building in Gurgaon. George is also overseeing Addis Ababa Exhibition Center in Ethiopia. The 750,000-square-foot project combines retail, food and beverage amenities, offices, cultural and entertainment venues, and a business hotel. 

George received his Bachelor of Economics from the University of California, Berkley. He recieved his Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
