Steven Miller, an American urban planner and architect, joined FXFOWLE in 2005 to direct the firm's overseas work. As Managing Director, he operates FXFOWLE's branch office in Dubai, UAE, where he is a resident. Steven has over 45 years of experience in planning and architecture, real estate, investment planning, project and construction management. He understands the issues that drive development and the elements that make it successful, especially in the international market. He has knowledge of and has completed projects in a number of countries including UAE, (Dubai), India, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia, Morocco, China, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, the Ukraine, United Kingdom, Italy, and the US.

Steven is currently coordinating the development of new sustainable master plans, tall buildings, and a major bridge project in Dubai, and commercial and mixed-use towers in India. Major projects include: two detailed Master Plans for the Waterfront District, by Nakheel; and the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing, a 55,800 foot long bridge that incorporates two metro lines which will be the largest and tallest spanning arch bridge in the world, as well as commercial and residential buildings in multiple, locations in Dubai. Commercial and residential projects in Mumbai, Noida, and Delhi, India including I.T. Park master planning. All projects are designed to achieve LEED Gold Rating by India's Green Building Council.

Before joining FXFOWLE, Steven had his own development and architectural firm in Prague, Czech Republic for 12 years. In Dubai, he was a consultant for Emaar Corporate Office as a Director of Design and Development doing work in Egypt, Jordan, and Pakistan. He was educated at Columbia University in New York and the University of Colorado.
