Partner, Managing Director

Tim Milam is FXFOWLE's Managing Director. With over twenty years of experience as an architect and manager in both the public and private sectors, Tim is responsible for contract administration, project management oversight, and general management of the firm. His duties include strategic planning, contract negotiation, human resources, as well as staffing and recruiting. He chairs the firm's steering committee and is a key member of the management committee.

Before joining FXFOWLE, Tim was a Project Manager at the City University of New York where he was responsible for the oversight of all projects at several colleges including the Brooklyn College Library renovation and expansion, the Lehman College Multimedia Center, and the Bronx Community College Day Care Facility. Prior to that, he was an associate at Jambhekar Strauss Architects (since merged with FXFOWLE), participating in the overall management of the firm and designing key commissions including the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail System, the Lehman College Communication Center, and the Queensborough Community College Master Plan.

Tim received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Urban Planning from City College.
