Completion: 2007
Area: 167,000 sf

This well-respected international law firm's new office is located on the 39th to 43rd floors of the New York Times Building. The largest space to be occupied by a law firm in the new building, includes a board room, multi purpose room, library, and cafe, in addition to first class workspace for 100 lawyers and staff. The design reflects the vision and status of the firm, with custom millwork, clean, classic furniture and finishes, and an elegant interconnecting stair. Merging the design intent of the building with the needs of a law firm, the space adheres to the grid of the building and incorporates transparency whenever possible. Light colored finishes, a modern vocabulary, and low partitions contribute to the sense of openness. The 43rd floor multi-purpose space and cafe functions as an internal destination, providing space for lunch, informal meetings, or larger gatherings.
