FXFOWLE and ISI-LA collaboratively designed Oaktree Capital Management's 25,000 square foot offices on the 34th floor of 1301 Avenue of the Americas. The client's objective was to create a contemporary, high-end space for client visits, while providing a comfortable work setting for employees. Variously sized conference rooms with integrated audio-visual systems were designed to facilitate communication with clients and between the national and international Oaktree offices. The fit-out utilizes striped-glass office walls to bring natural light to the interiors while still providing privacy. Marble floors, light oak wall paneling, and millwork enhance the reception area and large conference rooms. Stone transaction counters with stainless steel and leather trim surround the open area workstations and activate the corridors.
