As Lincoln Center’s 50th anniversary celebration approaches in 2009, the world’s leading performing arts center has embarked upon a major transformation to modernize and revitalize the public spaces of the 16-acre campus. The new Juilliard Bookstore is a significant component of this renovation, relocating to a prominent street-front location and redefining the image of a classical sheet music store for the 21st Century. Design and organizational elements incorporated will include: custom millwork, vibrant graphics and signage, bent wood veneers evocative of instrument shapes, and a new display and drawer system. The store will mirror the excellence, innovation, and commitment to music and performance of The Juilliard School.
