Greater Noida Group Housing is a 400,000 square meter residential development in the planned city of Greater Noida, situated 30 miles from Delhi. In addition to residential housing, there will be schools, medical facilities, and a substantial amount of open space for recreational activities. A majority of the buildings will be oriented to the south to take advantage of the sun during the winter months and cool winds during the summer monsoons. The lifestyle of the community will be informed by the landscape and architectural design which will include elements such as balconies, verandahs, outdoor seating, domestic gardens, and gateways to encourage social interaction and an appreciation for the non-urban environment. This project won the Future Projects Award from Architectural Review Magazine.
