FXFOWLE was a finalist in an invited competition to design the tallest building in Tianjin, China. The new tower's design synthesizes program, structure, and sustainability in a torqued tectonic expression of strength and elegance. The 100-story tower expresses innovation and civic pride and is poised to become the cultural and economic icon for a city and a nation. The tower's mixed-use program consists of first-class office space, with a 400-room hotel at the apex and retail at the base.
