The design for the Gateway Business Park creates a high-value real estate development that includes facilities for support services, back-of-the-house operations, as well as business hotels. The proposed vision is a derivative of historic Islamic precedents of low-scale and high-density cities; the new office and hotel buildings use a contemporary architectural language which is enhanced by a strong interconnectivity between inside and outside spaces. These sustainable buildings meet the street in a varied and dynamic manner, providing rich pedestrian experiences at the street level as well as above grade within and between the buildings.
