This mixed-use development project is a cornerstone of the revitalization of Jamaica, providing vibrant mixed income residential units and much needed street-level retail. The project incorporates the historic facade of the Queens County Courthouse as its “front door” on Parsons Boulevard. The building forms create a modern backdrop to this well-loved landmark. The green roofs will allow for gardening by the residents and outdoor activities. The program includes 346 residential units, retail space, and a community center with a unit breakdown of 53 low-Income, 110 mid-Income, 114 market rate, and 69 co-op units. The building is 125 feet tall and consists of 12 occupied stories above grade, one cellar level, and one sub-cellar level. The project was designed to achieve LEED Certification.
