Located near the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing, the Opera House Station and Island incorporates the latest technology and innovative design to provide Dubai with a state-of-the-art energy-efficient amphitheatre and transit hub. The design provides a transitional intermodal by linking pedestrians to the metro, ferry boats, and an amphitheatre and Opera House beyond. The center platform design reduces the width of the station, optimizing the cooling area and vertical circulation units throughout. The project is on track for a LEED Gold Rating by the U.S. Green Building Council.
